Introduction to my entrepreneurial life.

Hey class, my name is Dennis Gibbs I am a junior majoring in business management from Durham, North Carolina. I want to introduce you to my life. Growing up I never would have thought i would be attending college, yet alone be this far into it. I am a first generation college student pursuing my bachelors degree. I have a twin brother who works but never was really into school, but it's crazy because I was never into working and i never had a problem with school. I always wanted to be my own boss and potentially own multiple businesses. As of now i have started my own business called HotUnderground 919, which is an nostalgic, urban, exclusive boutique with new and gently used clothing. I launched the business May 1, 2019 . 
Above is a picture I found on google as an representation on my store in two years. After college I plan on owning two or more business in the future and also being an insurance agent. I took this class to learn more about the different cultural beliefs and different background of my peers.

ReplyDeleteDennis, I enjoyed reading and gathering this information about you. I like the fact that you are doing something that you are passionate about. Starting a business is never easy but I feel like you can do big things in your future if you can stay committed to it. Our two future occupations could possibly go hand in hand since you are a business management major and I a sport management/marketing major.
